Sponsors: Center for Resilience Innovation and the University of Maryland
In partnership with the Center for Resilience Innovation and the University of Maryland School of Public Policy, this project worked directly with City of Annapolis officials on developing a Climate Resilience Action Plan and Financing Strategy. Throwe Environmental formed a city climate work group and began to develop a well-designed plan that included a long-term vision and goals to ensure economic, social, and environmental sustainability of the city into the future. The focus of this project was on the interaction between long-term planning and short-term implementation along with assessing the risks, costs, and associated impacts of climate change on coastal communities.
