Resilience Authority of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County (AACo)

Throwe Environmental will lead efforts to launch and establish the groundbreaking Resilience Authority of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Team Throwe brings unparalleled experience regarding the creation of financing institutions, specifically within the State of Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region. In addition, the Throwe leadership team has worked in direct partnership with leaders in Anne Arundel County and Annapolis, Maryland on developing and implementing resilience action plans, with a focus on financing and implementation.

Throwe Environmental’s work to establish the Resilience Authority is led by Dan Nees, Director, Policy and Finance. Other members of Team Throwe support Nees, Executive Director Matt Fleming, and the Authority’s Board, positioning the institution for sustained success into the future. Prior to the nomination of Fleming as Executive Director, Nees served as the Authority’s Interim Executive Director, managing the organization’s day-to-day activities.
