Project Description
In partnership with ICF and CHPlanning, Throwe Environmental is conducting a feasibility study to assess the viability and potential utility of a resilience authority in Prince George’s County. Resilience authorities have the capacity to accelerate the development and implementation of projects designed to protect critical community infrastructure and assets from the impacts of climate change.
The Project Team is evaluating current County capacities and programmatic structures to understand how an authority would function within existing systems. The Project Team will also evaluate the timing and costs of planned resilience projects in the County, and recommend a funding and financing system to identify revenue streams that can support Prince George’s County’s resilience goals.
