Throwe Environmental, in partnership with the SNEP Network, the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank (RIIB), and the Town of Middletown, wrapped up this year-long project in September 2023. The Project Team developed a process for Town officials to identify capital project priorities as well as a report that serves as the foundation for a long-term, climate resilience financing strategy for the Town. 

The Project Team also provided assistance in establishing an Island-wide Resilience Leadership Exchange to include Middletown, the Town of Portsmouth, the City of Newport, RIIB, and Naval Station Newport. The Exchange provided a forum focused on advancing a regional approach to climate resilience across Aquidneck Island.
