Town of Bourne, MA
Phase 1 of this project, completed in Spring 2021, led to the development of a Coastal Resilience Action Strategy, which included a set of key recommendations and prioritized climate resilience projects, actions, and implementation criteria designed to determine the greatest need, impact and opportunity. Phase 2 of this project began in Summer 2021, includes the development of sustainable and scalable financing options that will help lead Bourne towards successful long-term project implementation and community resilience. Both phases are provided through technical assistance from the SNEP Network.

The Climate Resilience Financing Assessment Project Team, led by Throwe Environmental, worked in direct partnership with Bourne leaders to address stormwater impacts within the context of a changing climate. The goal of the project was to provide local leaders with a financing plan of action to address civic and stormwater infrastructure needs into the future. Read the report
