SUMMARY:Navigating the Long Island Sound Futures Fund 2023 Grant Opportunity for Massachusetts Municipalities
DESCRIPTION:Over $10 million in funding is available in 2023 through the Long Island Sound Futures Fund (LISFF) to restore the health and living resources of Long Island Sound (“the Sound”). Non-point source pollution accounts for sixty percent of the load to the Sound during wet weather. Eligible projects in the “Clean Waters and Healthy Watersheds” theme should improve water quality by reducing nitrogen pollution, impervious cover, stormwater runoff, and point and nonpoint source loading the Sound. This webinar will help attendees learn more about grant opportunities through the LISFF.
